DM Smart: The Silent Champion Behind Leading Brands

DM Smart is a China-based manufacturer specializing in the R&D and production of smart curtain motors. Operating from our state-of-the-art production facility, we offer a comprehensive range of products, including tubular motors (roller blind motors), drapery motors, and a full suite of supporting smart accessories.

While DM Smart may not be a household name in the consumer market, we are a critical "hidden champion" within the global smart home supply chain. We are firmly committed to an OEM and ODM-centric business model, deliberately avoiding any direct competition with our clients in the retail space. Consequently, many of the world’s leading smart shading brands are powered by Doormacurtain’s engineering and manufacturing expertise. Our global footprint spans continents, serving prominent brands across China, Germany, the USA, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and beyond.

According to the Smart Home Magazine Industry Report (2025), DM Smart ranks solidly within the second tier of the global smart motor industry. However, our competitive edge lies in delivering "Tier-1 quality with a conflict-free partnership." We utilize the same high-grade supply chain resources as industry leader Somfy, ensuring our motors match the premium standards in terms of noise reduction, operational stability, and service life.

As Mr. Tony, General Manager of DM Smart, states: "Our corporate strategy is clear—we focus solely on OEM/ODM manufacturing and will never compete with our customers." This commitment to "staying behind the scenes" has earned us the trust of global brands, resulting in a robust portfolio of successful partnerships. Choosing DM Smart means partnering with a manufacturer that prioritizes your brand’s success, offering reliable quality without the risk of channel conflict.
